Description
No experience necessary! The shallow water program provides candidates with a system for designing general population total body group exercise classes. Instructors will learn exercise science and programming for the many skill and fitness levels that attend classes (swimmers and non swimmers). Whether you are a new Instructor or just needing an upgrade – this program has been innovated to help Instructors teach more practically. Water exercise equipment such as pool noodles, fitness mitts and dumbbells may be introduced. This is an excellent option for the non swimmer instructor because of the many tools that will be learned and practiced to build your comfort zone with water exercise -the wave of the future! New aquatic fitness instructors may start with this level especially if you only have shallow water depth in your pool5. Instructors who are re-qualifying may want to review this program as an easy option for re-certifying.
