These sessions are limited enrolment ––so simply email us to book the date and time you prefer to attend. Additionally you may email us if you have other questions about exam process.
Here is what you will need for a 30 minute zoom practical (so maybe get something ready to show & tell so we may truly help you)

Please demonstrate both modifications and progressions – how to make programs easier or harder as swimmers and non swimmers move very differently. You may use music on-site doesn’t work well via zoom. On-site 30 minute lesson plan /practical assessment should include:
a) show basic moves, muscle mechanics & answering a couple of oral safety questions prior to teaching your program specific to general populations
b) Teaching a 5-10 minute warm up (may be shallow and/or deep water techniques)
c) Teaching a 3-5 minute Cardiovascular Set Teaching specific to low impact (please demonstrate & show working positions show you may change impact and intensity of any movement or exercise)
d) Teaching two separate 3-5 minute Muscular Strengthening sets. Be sure to perform enough sets & reps with or without equipment. If candidate decides to utilize equipment, use of equipment must meet safety and efficacy guidelines. Explain if equipment is assistive or resistive.
