Buoyancy Belt: Dimensions: 30″ x 5″ x 1.5″ with a 62″ strap (78 cm x 27 cm x 4 cm with a 155 cm durable strap)
Made of EVA soft closed cell foam for the most comfortable fit. Features an adjustable, non-elastic belt strap for good body alignment especially if the person wearing the belt is 25% body fat or more. The even distribution of buoyancy helps balance a person with more built in body fat so that they do not just float and cheat or jog belts push them into forward posture.This belt may be used for a variety of waist sizes of participants (30 inches up), perfect for using for deep water classes or for non swimmers in many different classes.
The belt should hold your head out of the water so that you are at neck-depth. Floating too much does not properly submerge and protect the shoulders and neck area to protect those joints. We recommend wearing mitts to support good posture and balance and to use for added upper body benefits. Wearing shoes during a deep water workout will make the workout more challenging!
Buoyancy Dumbbell : 5″ diameter
5″ x 10 .5 inch length (or 13cm circumference of bell x 27.5 cm length ) excellent size for clients so that they may safely anchor the buoyancy under the water and protect the shoulders and neck area.
Note: Using too large of a diameter of foam weight may aggravate the shoulders so client should have strength and body composition to be able to submerge under the water for maximum benefits and protection. Ideally hold under the water and move slower on the accent for more “intensity” or a high workout level.
