This water fitness training program is for anyone interested in facilitating a post rehabilitate approach to fitness. Water exercise is an excellent modality for protecting our joints and healing our bodies. Explore ways to modify and progress all the components of fitness to help people with some sort of orthopedic, cardio-pulmonary or neuromuscular conditions. This virtual training includes practical and theoretical information to maintain function in the water for movement and independence on land.
The goal of the program is to help both swimmers and non swimmers move pain free and develop skills in the water to help their mobility, strength, posture and ADL’s on land.

- Online profile and Certification E-diploma when successful with examination process
- Updated qualifications of existing qualifications for two years by achieving another level of Certification
- Recommended but not required Pre-requisites: In order to gain the most out of this program and become successful, the following is highly recommended that the candidate have completed either Shallow & Deep H2O Instructor Certification/Senior H2O Instructor Certification at least 2 levels of WaterART Certification or equivalent unless candidate holds one of the following certifications: Registered Kin, Registered PT, RT, OT, AT or PTA.Please note that only Registered Allied Health Care Providers may utilize the term Therapist or Aquatic Therapist when they are Certified and qualified. Other professional must work in the post rehabilitation field to stay within their scope of practice.
