Description
This is a guide to attaining certification for a gentle and functional sitting and standing program suitable for elderly residents living in a residential care community or retirement home (IL/AL/MC or LTC, or Adult Day programs). This video contains a guide to the training required for providing exercise with a high standard of care that follows theoretical and practical applications. Areas addressed include neurological, cardiovascular, orthopaedic and cognitive issues that you may experience in your clients.  You will learn how to design a safe and purposeful program with the correct leadership skills to help people take charge of their life and maintain their independence.
What is a Tutorial Video – A tutorial is a video-guided PowerPoint presentation with a Certified WaterART Master Trainer which reviews all the classroom sessions and information that instructors would typically receive if attending an on-site training event. Video tutorials are an excellent investment as they can be reviewed several times, especially if the information is new and somewhat overwhelming. We highly recommend our guided tutorials to those who are not familiar with exercise science.
