Description
This video discusses the movement and use of all major muscle groups. The key concepts of muscle conditioning are covered for strengthening and stretching each major group. For balanced training there is an overview of muscle pairs to show what is required for the weaker muscles versus their stronger partner. Muscle exercises, suitable for residents of a retirement home, are shown using the “principal of overload” for safe progression without pain. The main goal is to be able to present a program that will benefit fit and not so fit older adults by adding functional and enjoyable movement to each program. Highly recommended for an elderly exercise program.
What is a Tutorial Video – A tutorial is a video-guided PowerPoint presentation with a Certified WaterART Master Trainer which reviews all the classroom sessions and information that instructors would typically receive if attending an on-site training event. Video tutorials are an excellent investment as they can be reviewed several times, especially if the information is new and somewhat overwhelming. We highly recommend our guided tutorials to those who are not familiar with exercise science.
