Investigate the most common types of arthritis and the need to design programs to aid this clientele. Examine the options for class design based on the skill and fitness level of each individual. Learn how to modify and progress exercises within each selected program to meet the needs of this multi-level population.

Design Guidelines for Arthritis programs
Functional Testing for Balance, Strength & Mobility
Arthritis Specific Exercise Inventory for Balance and Functional Activities incorporating
Low Impact Aerobic Activity
Resistant Bands and Light Weights
NOTE: You will have up to six months to complete the certification exams (after the training date/purchase date).
The theory exam is take home or applied theory. The practical assessment may be completed with a Master Trainer ( onsite) OR DVD/VHS Video submission. If you are currently certified and qualified with WaterART, you will only need to complete the theory exam. In doing so, this will update your qualifications with a new specialty level of certification as well as re-qualify your existing levels of certification for 2 years from the pass date of your new certification.
If you are new to land certification with WaterART or New to WaterART you will have to compelte both a theory and a practical assessment for full certification qualifications.
