Aquatic Running Programs are designed to bring out the athlete in
everyone. Often water exercise is perceived as an older adult rest
program but program is guaranteed to provide advanced intensity
options. We will guarantee you an WaterART Fitness always advises self
paced exercise but often clients enjoy a no nonscence workout option.
There are many benefits of water training and perhaps the greatest
benefit is that water training offers LOW to NON Impact exercise with
the protection of the water. Wear and tear on the joints is minimized by
waters cushioning effect. Research indicates that an athlete may train
at the same intensity with more muscle and flexibility benefits packed
into a program. Running in water may be a year round sport. So get
ready to get wet, work and have fun!

Aquatic running programming will cover both shallow & deep water training techniques.
We will explore 3 program formats to help you choose the best training modality for you and/or your athletes.
1. Shallow H20 Running (especially designed for muscular balancing and injury prevention)
2. Shallow H20 HITS (High Intensity Interval Training)
3. Deep H20 Running (for muscular balancing and injury prevention and those who prefer non impact)

Advanced Buoyancy Cuff Deep H20 Running
This session will utilize advanced buoyancy cuffs on the waist, arms
and legs with a variety of exercises and progressions. All candidates
should be skilled with deep water exercise prior to putting cuffs on the
ankles. Buoyancy Cuffs used on ankles will provide advanced water
training so if the participant is not skilled or ready for this session they may just do the program with a buoyancy waist belt. When cuffs
are added to the ankles for additional drag and overload even the
strongest athlete may be challenged. Cuffs on ankles provide advanced
resistance for the lower body work especially for the quadriceps,
hamstrings and gluteus maximums muscles as well as exceptional core
training benefits. This session will also review how to utilize cuffs on
the wrists for advance upper body resistance and challenge.
