Virtual Training with Master Trainer – 8.0 CEC Workshop
The goal of this training is to help Instructors understand how to design and plan a safe and enjoyable sit and stand program for their residents or older adult clients. This workshop will review all the weight bearing exercises necessary to help train for active living and independence. The lesson plans will help the Instructor to get ready to teach -right away. Learn total body stretching and strengthening exercises as well as simple cardio exercises for a suitable level for people to age well and functionally. Strength training is one of the most important components of any older adult program and this workshop will review inventory to build a program with or without equipment. Additionally, learn some “Do’s and Don’ts ” for safety and efficacy.
