This water fitness training program is for anyone interested in facilitating more rehabilitate approach to fitness. Water exercise is an excellent modality for helping clients to move more functionally. protecting our joints and healing our bodies. Explore ways provide exercises for balance, posture and gait training which is of specific benefit to people with common movement disorders including those from Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis or who have had a stroke. Learn to design programs suitable for these people by adding necessary functional exercises to aid with activities of daily living (ADLs). Review basic inventory with modifications and progressions for training muscular strengthening, flexibility and agility. This program is suitable for both swimmers and non swimmers as well as caregivers and regular water fitness instructors. This is an excellent entry level program.
