This is an excellent option to update your techniques and renew your qualifications. There are no exams and you attend  a variety of workshops over the course of 16 hours. You achieve 16.0 hours of continuing education hours AND automatic Certification renewal for two years from your expiration date.

Shallow H2O Splash Workshop (Friday) Low impact or High intensity – shallow water may be used for all ages, skill levels and types of programming. Review how to build a creative shallow water program utilizing working positions to vary impact and intensity. Learn hundreds of movement variations and techniques provide with and without a noodle to better provide multi-level options and opportunities for your participants to benefit with water exercise. The course is geared towards very practical and enjoyable education. This workshop will focus on putting a safe, effective and enjoyable and balanced program together. Time will be spent on visual and verbal cuing to masterfully blend cardiovascular sets with muscular strengthening and stretching. Focus will be spent on teaching the parts of a class for a balanced and total body program. Get ready to move and learn the infinite ways to build a purposeful program for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. We welcome everyone to attend for ideas, tips and helping to build purposeful programs.

DEEP H20 TRAINING with Equipment
Deep water training allows cardiovascular movement and muscular conditioning in a variety of body positions not possible on land. Plan your program design to serve a variety of participants—swimmer or non-swimmer—using buoyant equipment noodles or dumbbells or belts.
Discover how to target all of the major muscle groups in deep water. Review the body positions to aid each individual to achieve optimal posture, muscle balance, and performance. Optimize visual and verbal communication techniques to help you to coach and motivate safely from the deck.

COMBO SHALLOW & DEEP WATER TRAINING (Sat)
Whether it is a space issue or just a class preference, often shallow & deep water programs may be neatly combined into one program. Realize though that each depth requires specialized skills and moves, and offers different benefits. Review a variety of moves, working or body positions, and program designs to skillfully teach both depths simultaneously. This program will review lots of movement variations and techniques, provide multi-level options and opportunities for your participants for both non-impact and low impact water training.

Aquatic Tool Box Workshop  (Sat)-Build a flowing, enjoyable and effective program takes time and energy. This shallow and deep water workshop is an excellent option to update your Instructing qualifications by reviewing techniques, skills and lesson planning.

Discover infinite ways to make programs interesting and effective. Review simple techniques to design purposeful programs in both shallow and deep water depths. This training workshop will provide 50 ways to change up or provide combinations to your basic water fitness moves. We will review interesting exercise variations using a noodle and turn the water into the gym of the future. This session will review bottom and non bottom contact techniques to unload the body and maximize core challenge. Additionally, learn 10 ways to create more intensity or modify intensity with every water specific movement so that all patrons may be safely challenged.  Make the most of your movements! Guaranteed ideas and energy to keep your programs growing and benefiting!

FOAM WEIGHTS WORKOUT (Sat)
Working with foam dumbbells will add a new dimension to any program. Learn the exercise physiology associated with designing programs for buoyancy assisted and resisted training. This program will review the necessary shoulder girdle mechanics and safety considerations.
