										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Everyone welcome to earn CECs hours or just for more education and self learning.  Workshop provides general exercises for helping to improve function and maintain strength and mobility especially for the regional areas around the hips, knees, neck, back and shoulders.</p>

<p><strong>Participants who sign up for the 8 CEC re-certification participate in either Friday session or the Saturday session. Write in comments section upon checkout </strong></p>
<p><strong>SENIOR H20 INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION  (Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th): </strong>Candidates will review our <u>full home study program</u> as well as attend these training workshops for practical experience. The goal of this program is to provide a comprehensive yet practical approach of facilitating an aging population. You will learn techniques to orient, modify, and progress a clientele with a variety of medical or aging conditions. You will learn specific exercise inventory for Muscular Endurance, Cardiovascular Conditioning, Balance, Agility, Strength, Mobility, and Functional Fitness (appropriate to a senior clientele). This program will focus on facilitating a senior clientele with a variety of age related functional conditions. Contraindications to exercise and when to refer back to a health care professional is reviewed. Provides general total body strength exercises for helping to improve function and maintain strength and mobility.</p>
<p><strong>(Friday May 8th) </strong></p>
<p><strong>Senior “Fun”ctional Fitness Workshop (Friday May 8th): </strong>Did you know that training on the wall will not train posture, balance and core or help movement on land. Use the three-dimensional resistance and protection of the water! Review how to incorporate the buoyant and invigorating properties of water to create an enjoyable program to motivate clients and keep them coming back for more. Start with simple exercises then progress movement to aid with improved function for daily activities, social events and family outings. Learn to incorporate suitable equipment at the appropriate time. Best of all – put the FUN back into function!</p>
<p><strong> Programming for Common Medical Conditions Workshop (Friday May 8th): </strong>Review general guidelines for helping your clients/patrons with  orthopedic (hip, knee, shoulder, back, neck ), neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, arthritis, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and other debilitating medical conditions. Review safety tips on how to modify or progress an exercise to provide patrons with safe and effective programming.</p>
<p><strong>H2O Kickboxing (Saturday May 9th)</strong>: Unleash your inner warrior with this powerful fusion of martial arts and water fitness! Combining dynamic punching and kicking techniques from kickboxing and Taekwondo, this program transforms the pool into a total body training zone—maximizing resistance while minimizing joint stress. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or a competitive athlete, these aquatic martial arts will enhance your flexibility, agility, core strength, and muscle balance. Experience the strength of water, the focus of martial arts, and the energy of a high-intensity workout—all in one empowering session. Prepare to strike, splash, and soar!</p>
<p><strong>Deep H2O Noodle Gym (Saturday May 9th): </strong>Deep water training provides a unique environment for water exercise, free from gravity and impact. The noodle is an excellent piece of equipment to import into your aquatic fitness programs for a deep water workout. This program showcases many creative ideas incorporating cardiovascular and muscle conditioning exercises while using the noodle. Learn the many body and noodle positions that can offer a challenging workout to both the skilled and unskilled aquatic fitness participants. If you are not comfortable with the deep water you may participate in shallow water with feet off the pool bottom.  This session offers a selection of noodle exercises showing the many adaptations or progressions that can be used to accommodate a wide variety of participants within the same class.</p>
<p><strong>Aqua Strength, Balance, Core, &amp; Stability (Saturday May 9th): </strong>The properties of H2O provide the perfect setting for strengthening your muscles and your core. Learn specific skills that will improve your balance and stability for ADL. We will explore various aqua equipment that can enhance your classes. These skills &amp; drills are excellent</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sat &amp; Sun, October 31-November 1, 2026.</p>
<p>Experience the energy! Kick the intensity up a notch and keep your participants motivated with a no nonsense workout.  Add variety and challenge utilizing  aerobic and muscle conditioning  interval sets or circuit stations. We will explore three different workout (noodle boot camp, tubing with handles boot camp and interval  H.I.I.T. S dumbbell session. The tutorial will  review 3 levels of intensity suitable so patrons may incrementally progress their fitness and workout using a a self-paced exercise system.</p>
<p>The goal of the program is to provide a more athletic approach to fitness classes (weekend warrior through high performance patron). This Certification program will help the Instructor take command of their classes utilizing a variety of intense then recovery exercise bouts.  Intervals of cardiovascular conditioning will be integrated into flexibility and muscular strengthening sets using the protection and multi-dimensional resistance of water fitness.</p>
<p>Both shallow and deep water formats will be utilized for variety &amp; cross training benefits. Buoyancy equipment such as noodles &amp; dumbbells will provide both assistance and resistance for programming.  Tubing with handles will be added  to add tethering and intensity training with some functional exercise.</p>
<p>This calorie burning session will help to promote the fact that water training may yield intensity and challenge and provide relief from impact and joint stress.</p>

Learn hundreds of movement variations and techniques provide with and without a noodle to better provide multi-level options and opportunities for your participants to benefit with water exercise. The course is geared towards very practical and enjoyable education. This workshop will focus on putting a safe, effective and enjoyable and balanced program together. Time will be spent on visual and verbal cuing to masterfully blend cardiovascular sets with muscular strengthening and stretching. Focus will be spent on teaching the parts of a class for a balanced and total body program. Get ready to move and learn the infinite ways to build a purposeful program for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. We welcome everyone to attend for ideas, tips and helping to build purposeful programs.</p>
<p><strong>Noodle Gym Workshop:</strong><strong> (Saturday September 12th, 2026) :</strong> The noodle has become the most recognizable piece of equipment at the pool – which can be used in most every program and every depth of water. The unskilled can be provided with support to walk with confidence in shallow water. The more skilled can challenge balance standing, sitting kneeling or riding in deep or shallow water. This session offers a selection of noodle exercises showing the many adaptations or progressions that can be used to accommodate a wide variety of participants within the same class. We will explore noodle cycling and noodle boot camp in the mix for more athletic programming.</p>
<p><strong>DEEP H20 TRAINING (Saturday September 12th, 2026): </strong>Learn to program safe and effective exercise in a non-impact environment. Deep water training allows cardiovascular movement and muscular conditioning in a variety of body positions not possible on land. Plan your program design to serve a variety of participants—swimmer or non-swimmer—using buoyant equipment. Learn key cardiovascular movements and/or specific muscle targeting to help map out a program.</p>
<p><strong>Practical Tool Box  (Saturday September 12th, 2026): </strong>We will work on lesson plans and templates for preparing safe, effective and enjoyable aquatic fitness programs. The agenda will include ideas and suggestions to develop balanced and purposeful programs in shallow water depths. We will review exercise to manage and develop  the important components of a fitness program such as Warm ups, Cardiovascular training, Muscular Strengthening &amp; Flexibility Sets as well as &#8220;mindful&#8221; Relaxation and Warm down movement to close each program. Since &#8220;one size does NOT fit all&#8221;, ideas for a way to modify or progress exercises will be examined. These ideas will encourage each class participant to work at their personal best for a successful workout.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Examine the most common types of arthritis to better design programs for this clientele. Learn to modify and progress exercises, and to vary impact and intensity to meet the multi-level needs. There are more than 100 diseases in the arthritis category and it is widely accepted that most of the symptoms may be greatly benefited through water exercise. This program will review exercise inventory for safe and effective exercise design based on an understanding of functional range of motion and joint action. This balanced program will target cardiovascular training, functional fitness, muscular endurance and strength, balance and flexibility training. WaterART working positions will be introduced to provide multi level programming to help each participant train at an appropriate intensity level for self paced exercise &#8211; appropriate for types of arthritis. This program will also introduce the use of flotation and resistive devices such as noodles and resistive paddles for improved performance. Water Walking and Tai Chi movements will be incorporated to train mobility, gait and balance</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all know participation in regular physical activity elicits a number of favorable responses that contributes to a healthy aging process. The seniors of today understand the importance of exercise and staying active. The population requiring functional fitness may  typically be defined as approximately from 55 years of age through 90+ years. This means there is a huge variance in health histories, fitness experience and goals.  Many people, as they age, develop some sort of limitation that may be specifically enhanced by a personalized fitness program. Even small group classes are helpful to keep these clients exercising safely, effectively and enjoyable.</p>
<p><strong>The goal of this program is fourfold.</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>To help the professional diversify and expand their career opportunities</li>
<li>To help the client receive specific training exercises and tips to individualize their training program. In doing so, this will help to fast track and achieve specific results.</li>
<li>Learn a diverse inventory of land fitness exercises using functional equipment such as fit bands, tubing with handles, fit balls, steps and other cost effective home equipment.</li>
<li>Learn how to teach in person or provide virtual training for your clients</li>
</ol>
<p>Adults may choose to attend a program at a fitness club or community center for specialized training. Some have a fitness center built in their residence.  Those interested in fitness are looking for encouragement and challenge with specific goals and benefits in mind.  This means there is a need for a more personalized approach, using safe techniques and ideas that will enhance benefits to clients.   An individualized program can help clients to improve function for activities for daily living,  work on injury prevention, provide  improvement  for their sporting  activities,  add  vitality to travel, as well as maintain and improve general health to age well.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Saturday, April 25 &amp; May 2, 2026 1-5 pm EDT</strong></p>
<p>Learn with this program that improves functionality for Seniors with water exercise. Research clearly illustrates how movement in H2O will improve ADL’s (activities of daily living). Training in water provides a protective environment which naturally balances the body to easily train posture and balance – a key to aging well. The program includes theoretical and practical testing that will cover how specific H2O exercises will have a positive effect for the aging population including those with common medical conditions. This program is perfect for anyone who would like to work with our senior population.</p>
<p><strong>Saturday, April 25, 2026  1-5 pm EST  &#8211; Senior &#8220;Fun&#8221;ctional Fitness Workshop: </strong>Did you know that training on the wall will not train posture, balance and core or help movement on land. Use the three-dimensional resistance and protection of the water! Review how to incorporate the buoyant and invigorating properties of water to create an enjoyable program to motivate clients and keep them coming back for more. Start with simple exercises then progress movement to aid with improved function for daily activities, social events and family outings. Learn to incorporate suitable equipment at the appropriate time. Best of all &#8211; put the FUN back into function!</p>
<p><strong>Saturday, May 2, 2026  1-5 pm EST  Programming for Common Medical Conditions Workshop: </strong>Review general guidelines for helping your clients/patrons with  orthopedic (hip, knee, shoulder, back, neck ), neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, arthritis, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and other debilitating medical conditions. Review safety tips on how to modify or progress an exercise to provide patrons with safe and effective programming.</p>

<p><strong>a ) What is a Workout Video i</strong>s a start to finish follow- a- long program. Learn a template for total body benefits from start to finish. A great way to learn flow and fast track  your lesson plan.</p>
<p><strong>b)What is a Tutorial Video &#8211;</strong> A tutorial is a video-guided PowerPoint presentation with a Certified WaterART Master Trainer which reviews all the classroom sessions and information that instructors would typically receive if attending an on-site training event. Video tutorials are an excellent investment as they can be reviewed several times, especially if the information is new and somewhat overwhelming. We highly recommend our guided tutorials to those who are not familiar with exercise science.</p>
<p><strong>c) Educational Videos </strong>offer a multitude of exercise inventory and ideas. Often in a program you can&#8217;t teach or train every exercise and variety and progress are the cornerstones of efficacy.</p>
