Group Fitness Instructor I, II, III

 Contract, Part-Time $21.15 to $31.73 per hour

 The Town of Aurora is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for a position of Group Fitness Instructor to teach Aqua fitness.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have a current basic WaterART Aquatic Fitness Instructor Certification, and/or specialty certification. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of staff, program participants and the public. In addition, the ideal applicant must possess a valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification and the availability to work flexible hours including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

The Town of Aurora is currently seeking highly motivated, high energy Aqua Fitness Instructors to join our team of fitness professionals.

Preferred candidates must have experience in the delivery of Aqua fitness, understand the principles of water and possess the ability to instruct safe classes for all levels of participants.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have a current basic Aqua fitness instructor certification as well as a current Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification. Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of staff, program participants and the general public.

Successful applicants to this position will be required to provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check that is satisfactory to the Town prior to their start date at the applicant’s own cost.

The position offers an hourly wage starting at $22.00 to $33.00, pending qualifications.
