COMBO SHALLOW & DEEP H20 TRAINING: Whether it is a space issue or just a class preference, often shallow& deep water programs may be neatly combined into one program. Realizethough that each depth has specialized skills, moves and benefits. Let's reviewa variety of moves, working or body positions and program designs to skilfullyteach both depths simultaneously. This program will review lots of movementvariations and techniques provide multi-level options and opportunities foryour participants for both non impact and low impact water training.

program is the entry level program for learning how to teach a basic
Aquatic Fitness class. Whether you are new to the water, a lifeguard or
just want to become an aquatic fitness Instructor - this is the program
you should begin with. We will explore a variety of movements,
techniques and basic body and working positions for both shallow &
deep water depths. This intensive training will provide leaders with
functional techniques to design safe and effective sessions for a
variety of ages, fitness and skill levels. This foundation program will
provide you with a complete overview of how to facilitate a safe,
effective and enjoyable general group exercise program. You will
experience both theory (classroom) and practical (pool) applications to
build a well-balanced program which includes exercises to target the
cardiovascular system as well as balance the body with stretching,
posture and strengthening exercises. NO experience necessary just a love
of the water and helping people to move. You will have up to four
months after the training to complete the examination process. All exams

Process: You have up to FOUR MONTHS after the training date to complete
both your theory and practical examinations. The theory exam is a
take-home, open book exam. You email us your exam answers or mail the
exam in to be marked. Sharing exam answers is strictly prohibited. The
practical exam may be completed either via an onsite assessment or
DVD/video submission. You may decide on the day of the course how you
would like to complete the training. If you think that you may want to
complete your practical onsite, we highly recommend that you order and

MAXIMIZE YOUR MUSCLES: Muscles Move - Fat Floats! Muscular strength is needed in the water to promote cardiovascular fitness and burn calories. Understand how to effectively optimize muscle targeting for all your major muscle groups. Help your clients gain the most out of their programs with muscular fitness and balance exercises. Learn a specific exercise inventory and 3 levels of progression. This workshop may be facilitated with or without water fitness equipment. This program can be applied to either shallow or deep-water depths.
WATER SAFETY & BASIC RESCUESThis program is designed specifically for the aquatic instructor who needs knowledge in how to teach personal rescue skills and how to assist a patron/client/student who gets into trouble in the water and is not a lifeguard.
INTO THE DEEP WORKSHOP Learn to program safe and effective exercise in a non-impact environment. Deep water training allows cardiovascular movement and muscular conditioning in a variety of body positions not possible on land. Plan your program design to serve a variety of participants "swimmer or non-swimmer" using buoyant equipment. Learn key cardiovascular movements and/or specific muscle targeting to help map out a program.
AQUATIC EQUIPMENT TOOLBOX WORKSHOP with Bands, balls and bells: Utilizing a variety of equipment keep your programs dynamic and progressive. Fit bands will be utilized for strength, flexibility, balance, and partner work. Balls will be utilized for strength, balance and co-ordination. Foam dumbbells may be utilized for strength, balance and power. Build the water gym with tools to take your participants to the next level.

is an excellent option to update your techniques and renew your
qualifications. You will participate in the workshops and receive the updates for the Shallow & Deep H20 Instructor manual. There are no exams and you review the workshop and many new ideas of our new Certification program. Candidates will achieve 16.0 hours of continuing education hours AND automatic
Certification renewal for two years from your current WaterART Certfication expiration date. We invite
you to bring any questions or program ideas that you need clarification
on as we may easily fit this into the schedule.
