These live training workshops are an excellent way to learn how to lead and plan a safe, effective and enjoyable Shallow & Deep H2O programs. You may choose to take any option or hours of continuing education or full Certification. These virtual workshops includes live video viewing as well as a recorded showcase of the event with handouts.
Shallow H2O pool depth is defined by the feet being able to contact with the pool bottom between chest and waist depth. Working out in deep water is more challenging because, in deep, the body’s center of balance is at the chest whereas, in shallow water, the balance is at the feet that are more easily anchored down to the pool floor. Deep H2O training involves more core and muscular strength while shallow water is easier to train cardiovascular and a variety of movements that change directions easier. This instructor program will provide a plethora of ideas using equipment and no equipment. DWT may be performed in a shallow water pool – 4 feet or more -for total body suspended moves or with a belt for the less skilled or fit individual.
You can sign up for the virtual workshop and receive the following credits:
- 8.0 CEC Shallow & Deep H2O Workshop
- Deep H2O Instructor Certification (all candidates receive cup to six month after the training to complete the examination process)
You do not need a pool to become a part of this event.
