Fitness Trainer Biography:
I have been teaching Group Exercise classes for 37 years.
Teaching Experience:
I have been employed by Calvert Memorial Hospital since 1994 (and am still currently employed with them) as a Fitness Trainer and Health Educator.
I received my Personal Trainer certification in 1994 from The American Council on Exercise; thus I have been a trainer for 22 years.
I received a Certified Senior Fitness Instructor certification through the American Senior Fitness Association in 1996; thus have been certified to work with seniors for 20 years.
In 2006, I received a certification for Power Cycle Instructor from National Aerobics & Fitness Trainers Association.
In 2008, I received a certification from Les Mills to teach Body Pump.
In 2008, I received an Aquatic Instructor certification through WaterART Fitness International.
In 2010, I received an Aquatic Mind Body certification to teach Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi in the water through WaterART Fitness International.
In 2011, I received an Aquatic Arthritis Instructor certification through WaterART Fitness International.
In 2012, I completed the Faculty Trainer course in Group Exercise through National Aerobics & Fitness Trainers Association.
In 2014, I received an Aquatic Senior Fitness Instructor certification through WaterART Fitness International.
In 2015, I started teaching Alloy HIIT fitness program at World’s gym.
