Bio: Meaghan Clarke first became certified in WaterART when she was 16 years old and has been teaching for 10 years. Meaghan has worked as a swimming instructor and lifeguard for many years and is now currently a Deck Supervisor for the Town of Aurora.
Meaghan has always been an active individual, going back as far as she can remember. Her parents put her into many different types of sports when she was growing up, such as dance, gymnastics, soccer, swimming etc). The love to play sports and be active continued with her throughout elementary and high school. In high school, her love for athletics continued and she was inspired by many of her high school physical education teachers.
Educational Background: Meaghan attended Laurentian University where she received her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (Honours), specializing in Sport and Physical Education. Meaghan then attended the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and received her Bachelor of Education. Meaghan currently instructs Aqua Fitness at LA Fitness, The Town of Aurora (Club Aurora) and Bayview Golf and Country Club in the summer months.
Apart from being a fitness instructor, Meaghan is a teacher with YRDSB.
