Judy is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Physical Education where she competed on the swim team. She has been involved in both land and water fitness for over 30 years. She has worked in all facets of the fitness industry including: Fitness and Wellness staff as an adjunct instructor at Lansing Community College, Aquatic Fitness Coordinator for the Michigan Athletic Club, Aquatic Coordinator for the Michigan Arthritis Foundation, Instructor Trainer for the Arthritis Foundations Arthritis Aquatic Program, Arthritis Self-Help Program Leader and Fibromyalgia Self-Help Program Leader. She has participated in extra classes with NASM, and Yoga Fit Level 1 She is Certified to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis and Tai Chi for Diabetes, and a WaterART Master Trainer.
She is the Author of two books on Water Exercise and has created, taught and hosted many CEC courses for AEA and ACE as well as being instrumental in developing the Michigan Aquatic Network. She has been a presenter at numerous National and International Conferences: AEA, USWF, IRSA, MAHPER, Sara’s City Work Out as well as a spokesperson for fitness on the local level. She loves helping people develop a healthy life style thru exercise. Most of all Judy is the proud Mother of eight children.
