ACE PRE-APPROVED TRAINING OPTIONS

All courses come with a certificate of course. We offer .8 CECs or 1.6 CECs specific to ACE. WaterART Fitness is part of OFC and part of ICREPS and we provide many other CECs for NFLA partners, YMCA, YWCA, and AEA to name a few. Please let know if you need to petition any of our courses, we can provide you with a course agenda and biography of the Master Trainer.

AQUATIC PERSONAL TRAINING WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

This workshop will help you apply advanced scientific principles for one-on-one and/or specialized group training. You will learn water-specific protocols to assess modify and create client-specific programs. Review inventory for: posture, muscular balance & strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness.


SHALLOW & DEEP H20 TRAINING WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

Whether it is a space issue or just a class preference, often shallow & deep water programs may be neatly combined into one program. Realize though that each depth requires specialized skills and moves, and offers different benefits. Review a variety of moves, working or body positions, and program designs to skillfully teach both depths simultaneously. This program will review lots of movement variations and techniques, provide multi-level options and opportunities for your participants for both non-impact and low impact water training.


SHAPE UP AND WATER TRAIN WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

This workshop will review why WaterART Fitness is an excellent tool to help manage a healthy weight. You will learn how to optimize progressive exercise design for obese and at-risk clientele. You will be trained on appropriate exercise selections for maximizing caloric expenditure while minimizing impact on the joints.

 

PROGRAMMING FOR COMMON MEDICAL CONDITIONS WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

Learn to incorporate safe, effective and multilevel programming for common conditions of the hip, knee and back. Learn a complete group exercise program start to finish. Review a balanced program design so that all components of fitness are trained. Review general guidelines for helping your clients/patrons with orthopedic (hip, knee, shoulder, back, neck), neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, arthritis, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and other debilitating medical conditions. Learn how to modify or progress an exercise to help people gain the most out of their program.

 

ARTHRITIS INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

Investigate the most common types of arthritis so you may optimally design programs to aid this clientele. Learn how to modify and progress exercises as well as vary impact and intensity to meet the needs of a multi-level arthritis class. Add noodles or resistive paddles for improved muscular strength, flexibility, and balance.

 

AQUATIC SPORTS CONDITIONING WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

This workshop is designed to help your athletes and/or weekend warriors gain the most out of their time in the water. Training includes aquatic cycling, aquatic running, fining, boot camp and the correct use of dumbbells as well as advanced buoyancy cuffs. Learn techniques to help athletes prevent common sports injuries or recover from injury faster using the protection of the water

 

AQUATIC PRACTICAL TOOL BOX WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

This shallow and deep water training program is an excellent option to update your Instructing qualifications by reviewing techniques and skills. Discover infinite ways to make programs interesting and effective. Review simple techniques to design purposeful safe and effective programs. This training will provide 50 ways to change up or provide combinations to your basic water fitness moves. We will review interesting exercise variations using specific water fitness moves to turn the water into the gym of the future.

 

NOODLE BOOT CAMP WORKSHOP .8 ACE CREDITS  

Review a variety of moves to build a creative yet military style of no nonsense workout with noodles. Explore closed cell noodles and learn why these noodles will kick the training up a notch. This high energy program will provide 100 ways to train for muscle fitness, balance, agility, cardiovascular training, flexibility as well as coordination. This is an excellent way to help your patrons stop talking and keep them moving with fun and function! We will have a noodle challenge competition - prizes awarded - so be prepared for a high energy day! Shallow & Deep H20 program.

 

KCW017 - AQUATIC RUNNING INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

Often water exercise is perceived as an older adult rehab program. This program is guaranteed to provide advanced intensity options for those who prefer to work hard!  Learn shallow & deep water programs for high intensity interval training (H.I.T.S.) with CV sets and muscular strengthening sets

 

New for 2017 AQUATIC REHABILITATION FOR GENERAL POPULATIONS WORKSHOP 1.6 ACE CREDITS

This workshop is designed to give a comprehensive overview of exercises suitable for a general population recovering from injury, replacement surgery, and other debilitating conditions that prevent them from enjoying full mobility with daily living. In other words, this program is for less fit population as compare to the aquatic rehabilitation.

 

New for 2017 KCW003C - AQUATIC PERSONAL TRAINER TUTORIAL 1.6 ACE CREDITS

This guided tutorial will help trainers to think about the exercise choices. Progress their client's performance and well-being should be the number one goal and why personal training is unique to general group exercise.

 

KCW004C - AQUATIC REHABILITATION FOR GENERAL POPULATIONS HOME STUDY PROGRAM 1.6 ACE CREDITS 

The learning objective is to understand anatomy, safe joint range, muscle action and overall fitness levels requirements to be able to design and oversee safe exercise programs that will help each person return, as close as possible to, or improve upon, their previous levels of mobility. 

 

New for 2017 KCW005A - ARTHRITIS H20 REVIEW 1.6 ACE CREDITS

Water is the almost perfect place for people with Arthritis to exercise. Learn about the huge variety of conditions that fall into this category and how movement through the water can help alleviate pain around the joints, massage sore muscles and generally relax the body to improve the spirit. The program provides a general overview of forms of Arthritis and specific safety considerations for programming the many forms of Arthritis.
