    Jacquie,

the City of Toronto has some fantastic poolsthat are 86-88 F

Memorial Pool & Health Club ( Islington & Bloor) ..where we the WaterART conference last year.

Also the Elms, Norseman and Olympium have the same temperatures.
The theapy designated pools are Wallace Emerson & Mccormick -dufferine and Dupont area over 90F

He may have to invest in a vest or wet suit

I am very impressed at reading about Toronto's warm pools. I can think of three excellent pools in our Lansing, Michigan area that historically have been heated to 86-87 degrees F. Two of the three are now 84 F, and one of them is now 82 F even though its own printed literature says it is heated to 87. I am hoping that the pools where I teach can at least get it up to 85 F by winter, but heating costs have been rising and we all know what that leads to.

    Default Pool Temperature

Yesterday - I had someone speak about pool temperature - wondering what the ideal temperature was.

Reality is that we often have to "share" the pool with other people -so often it is necessary to dress for success and wear some thermal gear to help offset the chills of the water. Remember the muscles heat you up - so keep them moving if it cooler water & body fat does insultate the body...and yes, most of us prefer to have less body fat.

So I do recommend thermal vests. It really does help to keep your core temperature regulated. http://www.waterart.org/product_info...roducts_id=918
