    Default Dolphin Kick -

Hi - just a quick question about the Dolphin Kick. To power the legs forward, so you travel backwards... is the start position in the 'chair' position, right before you power forward? Or is the start position like an L-shape, with the legs fully extended forward, which would mean you'd have to first flex the knees before you can do the power phase? I'm thinking the chair position with the bent knees is the start of the Dolphin Kick ? .... Please clarify. Thanks!

The dolphin kick may go be utilized both ways -

1.Power forwards - (travel backwards) works the quadriceps

Power down ( travel forwards) works the hamstrings

YOU do not POWER BOTH DIRECTIONS - you focus on one way -so that this is effective and not ballistic training.
